Kindergoth Legal Defense For those of you that don't know, Kindergoth was entangled in a trademark lawsuit that almost killed it. In the end we won but the legal fees have kept Lee working on other peoples projects and not Kindergoth. Many people have asked if there is anything they can do to help so we started the Kindergoth Lawsuit fund. Donations over $20 will recieve a one of a kind Kindergoth Sketchcard drawn by Lee Kohse so make sure you include an address so we can send it to you. Current Projects     FILM: Lee is doing art for NBC's Heroes and in September will be starting work on Aliens Vs Predator (AVP2).     BOOKS: Lee was the Tech Editor on "Advanced Photoshop CS3 Trickery and FX" available now at Amazon.com Release date TBA.     DVD: Lee will be featured in a new instructional DVD on digital painting techniques produced by the guru's at Photoshop Cafe. Release date TBA.     COMICS: Lee did the cover to Zenescope's Grimm Fairy Tales Vol 2 Tradepaperback which should be hitting shelves in September 2007.     COMICS: Kindergoth is back in production. No release date is yet announced but Lee has finished writing the next chapter of Kindergoth and has begun drawing it. Master ink-slinger Joel Adams will be inking the new books. There will not be much new art uploaded for a bit while we work out the new site design but we will upload some of the sketch cards Lee did for the Lord of the Rings Masterpieces set to the Image of the Week when Topps approves them. 27Jul2005    Lee is currently doing covers for the new Angel comics from IDW Publishing. 19Aug2005    The Sa Diego Comic Con was a huge success. We will post more specific info when the contracts are signed. We will be adding lots of new prints to the online store in the coming weeks as well. 5Mar2005    Lee is currently working on the next Kindergoth mini series as well as designing new toys, stickers, and t-shirts for Kindergoth. He is also working hard on the new wwww.kindergoth.com site as well as a redesign to this site, and a new line of stickers featuring his pinup art. 12Nov2004    It's about time we got some new art uploaded. Lee has been doing spot art for C-Ya Skimboards and the first one in the Warrior Series is a revisit of an older piece: Lycan Warrior. 19Sep2004    Lee's separation from his old Art Rep is complete. As a result, we have just lowered prices on original art in the online store. Kohse and the BloodFire Studios gang will be at the Las Vegas Comic Con over Halloween weekend. This weeks image is halloween theme piece featuring the lovely Linda O'Neil as a witch expecting some company for dinner. 15Sep2003    Jeff Zugale, Jason Robinson, and I are working on a game called Cafeteria Havoc based on my Kindergoth comic. We should have a demo of the game ready to download from www.bloodfire.com in a few months. This "week's" image is a quick sketch I did of Boba Fett. 14Aug2003    Still really busy as you can tell by the infrequent updates. The Siggraph classes were great. I hope they ask me to teach them again. Jeff Zugale and I are currently working on issues 3 and 4 of Kindergoth and they should be available in time for the Las Vegas Comic Con. Jeff has done an out standing job not only with the art but his interpretation of my designs has been right on the money. This "week's" image is a cyberpunk pinup of Linda O'Neil. My art rep is selling some really cool silk stock lithographs of this piece and a couple of my other recent pieces on Ebay. This week's image has been uploaded. 30Sep2002    My friend JayJ asked me if I would display at an art show he was holding at this club, Xanth, here in San Diego this past weekend. It was a lot of fun and if you ever get a chance to go to one of these shows, don't hesitate. Live bands, DJ's and some incredible art and photography. Currently I'm working on the Aiko Tanaka print and writing Kindergoth, drawn by Jeff Zugale. 23Sep2002    Just finished a new sketch of Import Model Aiko Tanaka for the upcoming Glamourcon 30 (Playboy Convention). Aiko will be in LA with me for the show and will be signing the new print that I am painting of her. I'll post more info as soon as I finish the piece.
